Tom Myers joined Myers Realty at the Lakeland office in 2019.  Tom and his wife Sue, first started coming to Lakeland in 1990, when Tom’s parents chose this beautiful community to retire in.  With parents aging and new opportunities, Tom and Sue moved to Lakeland in 2010 and after living here for 9 years and frequently visiting for over 30 years, they have become intimately familiar with the community and the opportunities it offers.

Tom and Sue Myers spent much of their careers in California and Oregon.  They met and married while working as professionals in the Silicon Valley (Sunnyvale, California).  Prior to starting into real estate, the had owned and operated a very successful Bed and Breakfast Inn in the California Gold County and managed technical teams in building video and communications equipment. In addition,  they raised two wonderful children.

With the Bed and Breakfast Inn the Myers won several industry awards for service. In technology, Tom was awarded 4 patents and won several of the top industry awards, including a 1991 Technical Emmy for Special Effects Equipment.

Tom entered the real estate world in Title and Escrow working large commercial properties around the world.  Much of that time was spent in Central Florida, working with various major resorts as they were developed and built.
